The primary purpose and function of the insteon bulb is to be able to control a light bulb that currently don't have a wall switch or inconvenient to access such as behind furniture.  As such, there must always be power to the light bulb and control (on/off/dim) of the light is done by INSTEON and not via the local wall switch (if exist).
