Change of mind / Exchange

Under Australian law there is no refund if you simply change your mind however if you let us know your circumstances and subject to our agreement we may allow for the return. Refund or exchange can only be granted if the product is unmarked, unused, original condition with have full packaging and you have notified us within within 7 days of the purchase date and that the goods are returned within 14 days of the purchase date.

Smart Living reserves the right to refuse the return at all if the items are returned incomplete or damaged in any way (special or custom orders cannot be returned). If we agree to refund you we will provide a store credit equivalent to the purchase price of the item only. Original postage fees and the cost for returning the product back to us are not refundable.

Refund due to incompatibilities
While advancements in home automation and smart gadgets make it easier and more accessible to everyone please make sure you have done your research on product compatiblity by either going through our forum, contacting us or through your own testing before purchasing any items. We will try and assist as much as possible but ultimately we cannot be responsible for product incompatibility given the vast amount of devices/products out there and your unique setups.
 
If you do encounter compatibility issues and wish to return the product you are responsiblity for the postage cost to send the product back to us. If we agree to exchange the product you are also responsible to cover the return postage cost and we reserve the right to charge a 20% restocking fee.
