When you register for an account an email is immediately sent to you to verify your details however sometimes it can take a few minutes to arrive. We use industry standard SSL encryption so all personal contact information are securely stored in our system and used to process your order only. Payments including credit card are handled by Paypal and are not stored in our systems. All electrical products in Australia need to meet safety requirements with the appropriate certifications. We only sell products that are designed for the Australia/New Zealand market with all the necessary certifications. This ensures the products are both safe and compatible with Australian devices.

Products that are purchased through unauthorised resellers or overseas have the risk they do not meet these important requirements.

The stock level on our website is updated constantly when stock arrives in our warehouse so in most cases will be back in stock within a week.  Some items will take longer depending on availability from the manufacturer but you can subscribe to the product and we'll automatically notify you when it's available again.

We are constantly monitoring and updating our prices to bring you the best value for money and remain always competitive.  If you find an identical item cheaper from another company we'll match it.  Just send us an email to sales@smartliving.com.au with the link to the product from the other company.   You can read more about our price matching policy here.

For peace of mind we use signature on delivery with full end to end tracking for all our packages which means it cannot be left unattended.  If you are not home to take delivery the package will be redirected to your local post office and a card will be left in your letterbox so you can pick up at your convenience.

Yes, we have qualified electrican that also specialises in Home Automation so we'll be able to do the complete install and know all the in and outs on setting up the system properly.

Our office is for consulting services only and since all our products are located in our warehouse we don't offer pick up.  If you require the products urgently we offer next day express shipping as an option.

All the possibilities with Home Automation is very difficult to demonstrate in a limited showroom environment and we found at the time we had one it wasn't widely used by our customers.  There are many videos available on YouTube that users have posted on Home Automation and on our automation forum which gives a broader idea on the possibilitiies.  We also found that most of our customers have specific needs and discussing it over the phone/email is usually enough for them to make a decision. We are however looking at an alternative to the demo centre so stay tune!

We do not drop ship so we stock all our products ready for dispatch from our warehouse. There may be situations where the quantity you order is more than we currently have in stock so in this situation it will be placed on backorder (if product is still available) or we'll refund you. In either case you will be notified if that happens.
