Aeotec / Aeon Labs Z-Wave Outdoor Motion,Temperature, Light & Humidity MultiSensor (Gen5)

The new Gen 5 aeon labs multisensor can be used indoor or outdoor and has sensitivity adjustments to allow precise control over motion sensing.  Use in automation scenes you can trigger events like turning on a light when it's dark, adjusting the thermostat, turn on/off the fan etc.  This Gen 5 device gives better range, better battery management, over the air updates (OTA) and IP42 waterproofing.

There a lot of things you can do with MultiSensor’s inbuilt sensors, each of them offering an whole new level of intelligence, personalisation and perfection for Z-Wave.  Several mounting positions are possible including ceiling mount to provide 360 degrees coverage.

The sensor can be powered using a usb power adapter or 4 x AAA size batteries.  For best performance and reliability make sure you are using quality low discharge batteries like the Sanyo Eneloop or alternatively forget batteries altogether and use the USB power adapter.

This replaces the older Aeon labs multisensor DSB05-ZWAU
