The Remotec A/C Controller is a compact Z‐Wave to IR extender for air-conditioner (AC) and works with any compliant smart home controller like Fibaro Home Centre and Vera by translating Z-Wave Thermostat Commands to AC IR control code.   Now you can turn on/off your aircon and adjust the temperature from anywhere using your smartphone or web browser!  Setup automation scenes in your smart home controller to turn on the aircon if the room gets too hot or turn it off when the room cools down. Never forget to turn off your air con and reduce your energy cost.

To use it simply select the IR code from the built‐in code library of compatible A/C units or use the learning function and then place this little smart module near your existing aircon and that's it!  This smart module has built‐in temperature sensor which reports back on the current room temperature so it can be used as a trigger for automation scenes.

We recommend you use high quality low discharge batteries like the Sanyo Eneloop for best performance or alternatively forget batteries altogether and use the USB power adapter.
